Most people who know me, understand that I have a strange fascination with the Evil Dead movies.

Awhile ago some people got together and wrote an Evil Dead musical and then took it on the road. I think I'd be a pretty damn funny show to see - even if you're not a big Evil Dead fan.

Just about anyone who's met me will probably have heard me mention the Evil Dead series. Well... Here I go again!

Thanks to a Forever Geek article, I've discovered the comic series Darkman vs Army of Darkness. And so begins my hunt to buy this series. Yes, I'm looking to buy comics (Geek Points ++).

Darkman is a film that not many will have heard of, but it's a Sam Raimi creation just like Evil Dead. Sam Raimi is better know these days for directing all 3 Spiderman movies.

If anyone happens to see them around at an online store, let me know.

ats you Randomly flicking channels last night, I came across the Eurovision Song Contest, after muting a couple of shit pop songs, Lordi came on.

I'd never heard of this group before, but I sure have now. Who couldn't like a group that references Evil Dead not just with their music videos and site, but with their costumes as well.

Wondering what they sound like? Well, it's metal... But more like a soft metal, but damn it's good.

Turns out, they won the Eurovision contest too. Congrats to the few visitors to this site who are from Finland (leave a comment, if you're from Finland)

As years go by, friends will drift in and out of your life. It's inevitable. We're just not the same people we are during our younger years. This comes from growing out of your younger ways, and growing into the person you will be for some time to come. Or because you move on from old hobbies or ways of spending your time and come to realise you have little else in common. There's probably a third reason but someone smarter than me can mention it.

Today being all hallows' eve, it's time for some random bits of semi-related info...

• The episode "Hush" in season 4 of Buffy the Vampire Slayer is a great episode worthy of being watch tonight.
• Why could I not find a good Halloween related poem? You let me down, Google.
• I want a shirt that says "I'm evil, ask me how." And I've submitted it to Solo Tees. I might just get my shirt made, and a couple of freebies out of it.
• Tonight I think I'll watch all three Evil Dead movies... Mmhmm. I'm that nerdy. Go go cult classic movies!
• Here's a head in a jar, go off and make one. You know you want to. Make me one too while you're at it.

Woo, Halloween tomorrow. That means Halloween-y movie night at my place tomorrow night. If you're in the area, drop around. I got two cases of beer and a bunch of movies... And the Comfy Couches are ready in the garage.

So, uh... How was your week? Nothing happening with me. It's my nieces' christening next week, so that's something that's coming up.
