In an effort to keep up with fancy things, the software that runs this site has been updated from 4.6.5 to 4.7.0. Chances are you'll see a few things wrong (such as many missing photos) but things will eventually be back to normal. There aren't many new things that you'll all notice right away, but I'll be installing a few extra modules to add new features over the coming weeks.

If you notice anything wrong with the site (apart from the missing photos) post a comment and I'll dutifully ignore it. :)

April has been a big month for my lil' site. Not because anything major has been added, but because over 230MB has been transferred from people looking at stuff around the site.

230MB may not sound like that much, until you notice that previously the the highest month is around 50MB less.

I wonder if next month will be similar, chances are it is. But if you're new around here, drop a comment here and there. Activity makes for a more something something. Yeah, I didn't think that last sentence through.

Milestones, sandstones and other stones too...

It seems my stupid little site has reached a few milestones. This is the 600th item on the site, and a few days ago the 1,000th comment was posted. That's about 1.67 comments for every item.

The site has been running for 2 years and 35 weeks.

There is also now 5 photos of me for viewing in the photo galleries, yes that's a milestone as I hate photos of myself. :P

There are now 52 people registered, the 50th being Chr1s

And so ends this post.

Meh.

Because I can... I've opened up the forum to see how much activity it'll get.

A 250GB Western Digital HD I ordered should arrive tomorrow... And I'll be able to stop living on the edge and be able to backup the important stuff again. Documents and photos. This will be an external drive, and I'm hoping that the USB 2.0 PCI card I recently installed allows me the full 480Mbps speed, otherwise I'll have to get an external HD case that has Firewire.

I've been playing Hold 'em Poker a lot recently, even considered making a poker table with a mate just for kicks. Though, the more instructions it will take to complete the higher the chance we'll slack off and not do anything about it. I guess I'll have to look more into the cost and how we'll go about making it.

It seems like this shirt was created just for visitors to this site... Okay, the spelling is wrong and it was really created for the "donut" character in Red vs. Blue... But I had the name first!

I've had this poll before, but it's time again for it. Should I bother enabling the forum on this site? If it's just going to be posting to it, it's pointless as y'all can just read these posts. But if others want to post random shit to it, it'll probably be fun - at least in theory.

Uh... Yeah.

Couple of little things have been added to the site. the "Browse archives" block on the right will help y'all see when I add new photos. It's also time for a new poll, if anyone has any suggestions I'll think about them for a short time, then probably reject them. Uhm, forget that last bit.

And the other fancy-pants new thing is all the way over on the left side of the site, the "Diet Bits" block. This is actually an RSS feed from mikey-san's site. Now, this is simply links to funny images that he finds, or are sent to him. So expect several new links every day. The block will display only the most recent headlines, if you want to check out some of the past ones, they're right here.

If you have some links to images that aren't displayed on the list first, you can send bits to mikey-san..

Yay!

After many searches on drupal.org and finally finding instructions for something that wasn't documented and wasn't even hinted at, I've managed to get the image galleries back online!

Being your praise of me... Now.

I'll try to upload one or two photos a day in an attempt to get the galleries back to their former glory.

You'll also notice a fancy new block on the left displaying an image. This displays a random image from the entire gallery. Fancy lil' thing.

As you can see on the left is a new "Recent Comments" section. This is mostly for those that have been commenting regularly. Hopefully it will encourage others to do comment more as well.

On the links page there's a couple new links added, one to mikey-san.net the other to robotwax.com. Friends of the pastry, as it were.

My hands still smell like onion despite cleaning them many times, why did I have to volunteer to cut them at the BBQ tonight?

I've started watching Buffy from the very beginning again. Since tvtome.com was sold and changed to tv.com with a new ugly interface and enough advertising to choke a marketing executive, I've come across a new site that will eventually provide the same information that the old TVTome did - tviv.info. I plan on adding some information to the empty pages about Buffy as I watch the episodes. Just a small activity to keep me entertained.

It's probably about time I went through my entire DVD library, there's many that I haven't watched in a very long time. Gotta get the value out of them, I guess.

I think this look will do until I get around to making my own theme again, and if you know my track record on these things hopefully you like this look.

Looks like Scrubs season 2 will be out on DVD on the 21st of this month, this is a great thing and I look forward to writing the review for it. Perhaps I'll even track down why I like Scrubs so much. I hope a second OST for Scrubs is released as well, the first soundtrack was brilliant.

I started writing an "about me" page, but ran out of things to say. So I guess I'll continue to add a sentence here or there whenever I can think of something to add.

While the image gallery isn't back online yet, I can still share some photos with anyone that cares to look. So, here's some photos taken at a couple beaches around Wollongong.
