Been awhile since I wrote any words that appeared here, not sure why that is... I suppose I felt the odd photo that I put online would be enough. But every so often you've just got to rant.

Poker has pretty much been down hill since I came 4th. The week after, I didn't place. The week after that I came 9th, and the last two weeks now I've not placed. I guess my luck has run out as I'm not really doing anything wrong with my playing style - cards just aren't coming my way. I'm not sure if I need a break from poker, or if I need to somehow play more. A break would hurt my standings at the venue. But when you're continuing to get only 10 points just for showing up, you aren't going to make it far up the ladder.

I've recently found out that the education part of my traineeship comes to an end on December 12th, but I could be finishing a few weeks early. The employment part doesn't finish until mid January though, so I still have time to find a new job. Meanwhile, today I found out about two admin jobs available in different areas of my current employer. It's probably odd to say, but I still have no clue what I want to do with my life, but I'm fairly confident that it's no a life of business admin. I will be applying for both jobs, because if I get them it would be nice to get paid a lot more while I try to figure out what I want to do.

A little while ago, tunhguod.com hit the 800th node (a node is piece of content - post, image, and forum threads. Comments aren't nodes, they're comments... Duh). I would like to hit 1000 nodes by 2007. And I think it's possible. This will be the 845th, so only 155 to go. Of course... We can't all just post useless shit to get the numbers up.
