Doughnut(s)

I have come to the conclusion that the Krispy Kreme doughnut store in campbelltown has strategically adjusted the time they cook their original glazed doughnuts to the middle of the night so they do not have to give (m)any away as free samples. How have I come to this conclusion? Well after driving past the place twice a day during the week at the same time, and various times over the weekend, I never see the "HOT NOW" light switched on. Its a nasty way to take the best from the community, as those things are best when hot n fresh. I wouldn't drop in when the light was on just for the hell of it, I'd actually buy a box. Cos when they're all cold & the glaze has set, the damn things leave a horrible greasy taste & feeling in your mouth. And no1 likes that. I think they would increase their sales if they began promoting during daytime or early evening times again, cos that place always seems empty now, except for all the ricer-mobeels in the car park.

And that is all for now.... :-)

Never have been a big fan of

Never have been a big fan of their doughnuts either. Sure their fancy ones are okay, but... They're still just doughnuts.

I haven't seen that sign

I haven't seen that sign light up in months either.

I don't see how a doughnut shop can financially sustain such a large building and so many locations. Doughnut shops belong as little outcrops in the middle of larger shopping complexes. Like Wendy's or Donut King.

Those pineapple flavoured

Those pineapple flavoured ones are pretty good, the ones you can get from the sandwich shop across from coles next to bakers delight in mac square. I'm not big on donuts, but those, oh god!!
